Environmental advice for fashion store

The client instructed EIG to evaluate and optimize the design for an interior design team, considering that this will be a place of transition we intended to minimize the energetic and material impact from it through sustainable strategies to ensure the durability of materials and systems to be installed. EIG acts to optimize energy efficiency and the utilization of existing facilities or re-use at the new store in the future, in addition to controlling, with the highest possible efficiency, waste generated during the construction phase and, consequently, the environmental quality.

The goal is to open the way for a new shop concept, covering both the importance of design and respect to the environment. This exercise is a first commitment to substantially improve the energy consumption of resources of a very symbolic activity with great impact on the social fabric of a city like Barcelona.
