A project that presents an important challenge: designing a sustainable community.

EIG has been advising the client to obtain LEED certification (Core & Shell v2.0) at the design and construction phases for two housing complexes in Ensanche de Barajas (Madrid).

The project is currently in execution phase and different strategies have been implemented to achieve certification; from intervention in the design of facilities and architectural solutions (eg green roof) to the careful selection of materials and suppliers. EIG serves as LEED Project Director for all purposes.
