ABB Awards for Best Practices in Digitalization

Yesterday November 25th ABB and Club de Excelencia y Sostenibilidad unveiled the winners of the II ABB Awards for Best Practices in Digitalization. The awards recognize the effort of private and public organisations in the development and application of digital technilogies. The L2C Material Passport received the first prize at the SME’s category, together with Celsa Group (big corporation category), Too Good to Go (Startup category), Tesorería General de la Seguridad Social (Public Administration category) and Real Academy of Engineering (Best Practice on Digital Talent Development category). Ignasi Cubiñá. CEO and co-founder of EIG, received the award.

The ceremony was held at La Casa Encendida de Madrid with the attendance of Madrid authorities. Fernando de Pablo, Secretary-General of Digital Administration of the Central Government, opened the act, joined also by Marc Gómez, ABB Managing Director for Spain and Protugal, and Juan Alfaro, Secretary-General of Club de Excelencia en Sostenibilidad. Manuel Giménez, Counselor for Economy, Employment and Competitiveness of Madrid Community delivered the prizes and was in charge of the closure.

This award encourages us to follow our efforts in the development of tools to make real and scale up the circular economy.
